On the night of Friday October 8 I will be sleeping rough in Cambridge for Action For Children as part of the national technology community’s ByteNight – we’re out on the Science Park where i used to work for PIPEX, so it should bring back memories of late night projects! I’m in a team with Alex Kelleher, Vero Pepperrell, Mark Littlewood and Tim Ferris, and we’re among hundreds of people who are willing to have an uncomfortable night’s sleep in order to help Action for Children support nearly 156,000 children, young people and their families through nearly 420 projects across the UK.
If you feel like sponsoring us, then please go to http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/ByteNightMiscellany
You can find out more about the work of Action for Children at http://www.actionforchildren.org.uk/ and more about ByteNight itself at http://www.bytenight.org.uk/
I’ll be tweeting the night away, of course – unless they take my phone away from me – so you’ll be able to follow the fun on the night.
