  1. Isn’t this screen similar to what non-UK viewers see when they try to visit your employer’s “iPlayer”?

    It’s all about the licensing…

  2. Absolutely. And it sucks there too. Trying to impose arbitrary geographic boundaries like this just encourages people to make use of unofficial channels – hence the large number of BBC shows available as .torrents.
